We are currently seeking a part-time level 1-2 IT professional who can provide telephone and in-person support to our clients from our office and in the field.
The responsibilities for this position include:
- Visiting home and business customers to troubleshoot and repair various computer, printer and network issues.
- Installation of anti-virus and anti-spyware software
- Removal of viruses and spyware
- Installation of computers and peripherals
- Training users on basic concepts of email, the Internet, Word, Excel, Outlook, and Outlook Express
- Logging all technical work into in-house help desk call tracking system.
- Logging incoming telephone and e-mail requests for computer support.
- Train clients in general IT concepts and tools
We’d like to hear from you if you meet the following requirements:
- 1 - 3 years of technical support experience at levels 1 and 2.
- 1 - 3 years of experience using Windows operating systems and software preferred.
- 1 - 3 years of experience in writing documentation.
- 1 - 3 years of programming experience preferred Technical product certification preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze, diagnose, and troubleshoot complex computer problems.
- Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and work with mainframe, personal computer, and LAN applications.
- Proven ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Must be able to break down technical concepts into everyday language.
